What is the best way to hold the rear wheel still while I torque the lug nuts?
I know the manual says to put the bike on the side stand and hold down the rear brake pedal but that is damn near impossible on my own.

I use A bungee cord from the foot brake down to the m/c jack. If not useing A m/c jack, hook it to the lower part pf the center stand. Works for me. Alan

Throw a piece of wood thru the spokes. It makes it easy to rotate the wheel while you're laying on the floor.

Rear wheel lock

I use first gear and never had a problem.I imagine you will exert more torque on that gear taking off with two up.....Jim
