Howdy all. I'm just now getting ready to remove my rear wheel/tire for the first time. I tried to install a 19mm socket on the rear lug nuts and it didn't seem to fit properly. I'm not sure if 19mm is the correct size or not; or if its my socket. The socket would partially fit but not fully 'seat'. What appears to be rounded plastic on the ends of the nuts may be a part of my problem, yes/no?
Fyi, my bike is an '06 with a Bushtec hitch. The bike is currently on my Sears lift fully extended and I plan to just remove the lug nuts and remove the wheel/tire by lowering it down to the garage floor. Thanks in advance to anyone that can tell me the correct size for the rear wheel lug nuts.
