Help! After purchasing some riding gear for myself, its time to outfit my bride with some proper protection. Any recommendations for Ladies mesh type jacket would be greatly appreciated. Looking at either the Cortech LRX Series II or the Tourmaster Intake w/removable liner but would like to know what works from a womens point of view. Needs to be primarily for warm/hot weather (Texas) but able to be good down to lets say 50 degrees. I have found that the Tourmaster Draft works great for me but don't believe this comes in a womens cut. Any other suggestions out there? Thanks in advance...

The tourmaster intake 2 is a rather heavy jacket. The liner is thick and i don't really recommend (nor did i buy one) it for hot weather. I prefer a good mesh with CE armor in shoulders and elbows and a good back protector. I've used lots of tourmaster/cortech in the past (still do) and currently use a joe rocket 5 myself.

My wife likes her Tecknic jacket the best. She says they have some nice styles and the sizing is pretty accurate. I had bought her a Kilimanjaro jacket but she thought it was too heavy and didn't wear it at all. Plenty of deals out there on the net, but best is go a local dealer and have her try the clothes on before you buy .
Good Luck,

Take her shopping.
Women are all shapes and sizes and she needs to find one the fits her.
Moto Liberty has a wide selection. You may want to start there or at your local dealer's. 1st see what fits her, then you can narrow it down to what fits your pocket book.

BTW - it took me 5 years to find riding pants that fit right!

Just my 2 cents.

My Girl loves her Tourmaster Intake jacket, size medium. For our summer riding she has the 2 liners removed. If it gets into the 100's she wears a cooling vest under the jacket. Cooler weather.... the insolated liner goes in and she wears a scarf around her neck. A bit colder, a sweat shirt under or a good windbreaker over all. For coldest riding we have heated vests.
This is a great all around jacket that performs well for us on those long multi day - week or more rides where we don't want to pack a ton of gear to cover all conditions. For us it's the Tourmaster Intake and the fit is perfect. The "arm" armor does not move all around like other jackets, however.......everyone has their preference on riding gear. I hope you find the backet the works best.
