What Does a Red or Yellow Dot on Your Tires Mean? (msn.com)
While finishing up breakfast this morning and on the ole laptop, this little article popped up on the browser. Now, first off, probably 98% of you already know all of what's in the article. This thread is primarily for those that are not aware or, are unsure of what the dots on a tire are for. I won't go into what it says, if you're interested, it's about a 5 minute read. I already know I have both a red and yellow dot on my front Shinko 777. I'm not sure those dots were taken into consideration when my tire was mounted at a regular car tire shop. It now has around 6,700 miles on it and it has some cupping and I do get the wobble at any speed below about 55 or so.
