Can anyone tell me how to remove the radio control trim panel? I have a 2005 GL1800. I removed the dash easily thanks to Red. I decided to go ahead and paint this panel also to match the dash. Thanks

I have a 06 and i bought a white painted trim piece. I had the same question, the response was that you just cover the existing trim with the painted or chrome cover. I didnt like that because if you do that the radio buttons will be recessed intead of sticking up a fraction of an inch. I thought that would be a place for dirt or water to collect. needless to say the white cover is still on in the box and not on the bike. I'll watch this post and see if you get another answer. kevin
