The 2012 has quite a different rear-end than previous wings. Has anyone attempted to remove the lower trunk cowling? I need to do it this weekend to get to the brake-lights. I assume I need to remove the six Phillips screws from the inside sides and the four silver bolts on the bottom of the trunk. Anyone know if this is correct or if there's anything else that needs to be removed...

Haven't looked at a 2012 but the 4 bottom 8mm shiny bolts hold the trunk down to the trunk stay. I am GUESSING these don't need to be removed?

remove the 6 screws inside the trunk, bow out the sides to release the trim from the front around the pockets, then pry strait back, and it will pop out of the back, they are held in on the back the same as a car door molding.

The lower section of the trunk comes off in three peices. Remove the three screws on each side insided the trunk. Then, you have to almost force the section towards the rear to remove them. The center section comes off last.
