Hope someone has some info on this.

On my 08, I replacing the stock heated passenger backrest for the lowline ultimate.

On the backrest connector which wires do I put the 180k Ohm resistors across so the grips and seat still heat?

Thanks for your help....

Thanks Catch,

Yeah I found the one for under the seat but couldn't find anything for the backrest.

Question, are the resistors to fake the system into thinking that the heaters are still attached? If so maybe I can ohm them out to figure out which wires are for the heater coil.

Unplugging the backrest should not affect the seat heat & grips!

I guess I'll see when it comes but Ultimate said it wouldn't so I was trying to plan ahead. Thanks for the heads up....

When I installed the Ultimate passenger backrest I just unpluged the heated OEM backreat and did nothing to the heating system and everything else continued to function as normal.
