A few of us from Colorado got out in front of last week's snow storm for one last jaunt across the country... Destination Deals Gap.

Getting to Southeastern Tenn from Colorado can be a bit of a challange this time of year, but we conqured the elements only to enjoy two of the best days of riding we've had this year..

Bumped into Yellow Wolf during one of our stops. To better document the occasion, YW did a fantastic job with the Big Yellow Wing's onboard cam's and provided us with one of the most unique DVD's... It was a great experience!! Many thanks to YW!!!!

Here are some links to the professional's shots. Enjoy.

Getting home was just as challanging. We had reports of a cold front approaching, so we decided to go as far as we could the first day. Left Alcoa TN at about 6:45am EST on Monday the 30th, pulled into a hotel for the night in Hays, KS at about 11:30pm CST. An undocumented IB in 18 hours. Granted, all interstate, but still had the distance, and COLD to boot! As I recall, just over 40 degrees upon arrival.

Left the next morning headed for Denver. The temp was a blistery 28 degrees. It got down to 25 in Goodland, KS and warmed to about 34 degrees when the Mile High City was within site.

It was a great trip.

Now there's proof that YW does ride behind other Wings...saw the picture on the internet so it must be true.

There are so many places I want to go and people I want to meet, among them the Dragon and YW. But with limited time off and a family, thinking these things gets depressing at times. Here I go again...PMS.

Thanks for sharing.

Those autumn colors make a nice back drop to your black Wing.
