Tried a search and went to IBA and couldn't find anything. A few years ago I seem to remember someone starting or doing a Ride Around Texas (RAT) Iron Butt ride. Is this still done? Did it meet the qualifications? Thanks for the info. Jimmy

Doug Woodall came up with the original idea, we have done it twice by ourselves, really cut it a little short both times. Not sure if anyone is still doing one anymore but here is the info you can look at. Good Luck, DO NOT DO IT IN AUGUST!!!

I participated in the Inaugural RAT ride in 2006. It was sponsored by the MTF people and certified as an Iron Butt ride. Here is the link to that ride. I'd love to do it again someday.
