Good day gentlemen, the wife and I are fixin to load up next Friday (the 3rd) and head up for a multiple state ride. Never traveling up that way, need some (gotta see) places.
Let me tell you the states we are visiting and the basic things we plan on seeing.
We are staying at Ellsworth AFB for three (3) days and branching out each day.....
We want to ride thru Sturgus, cause I don't want to see it at any other time. Of course Crazy Horse, Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore, but other than that, I know the states of SD, ND, WY and MT have more to offer other than scenery. I have heard about the Hot Springs Spa's in WY, (do plan on that), but give me some other things to see/do that would be memorable.
Thanks guys, really appreciate it.
regards
Ray

ps.....i'm gonna post the same message in all the states sites and maybe in general.

Wy

I really like the Big Horn National Forest area in north central Wyomings. Great views, nice roads and several areas to stay on & around the mountains. Have a beer at the Antler Inn Shell Wyoming after a day fun riding.
Not far away is Cody Wy. Lots to do and see there and ride the Chief Joseph Secnic highway and Beartooth pass to Red Lodge MT.
We love Wyoming and plan to be there ourselves July 2015.

In South Dakota

I'd take a day ride east of Deadwood and see the Badlands. Small Grand Canyon. Pretty cool

Wyoming Whiskey

Just north of Thermopolis in Kirby is the distillery for Wyoming Whiskey. The "retired" head distiller from Makers Mark now "works" for WW. Pretty good stuff.

Don't forget the wind river valley while you're there.
