Anyone ever use a Ride on/off center stand with a car tire and aftermarket suspension. Thinking its not going to make much difference as the tire is same diameter at stock tire. Suspension: When off the stand reverse onto stand should not be any different, And when on the stand and the tire is hanging the suspension is fully extended and at the same height as normal. -- But maybe there is something I am missing.

Also read about being hard on the reverse motor. Any experience here?

I've been using the ride-off center stand for many years with a car tire. Works great!

I have a ride off stand on my 2018 DCT with a CT, it is effortless to use. If you have a passenger it is very stable on and off the stand.

The only issue I have with my Ride On-Off center stand is... when up on the stand I cannot inspect or check air in the rear tire by just rotating it. Also there is enough weight on the front tire that I cannot slip the tire on the floor to check it for air. Have to go back to the roll forward on the ground method, like a cruiser bike.


All in all, the Ride On-Off stand is great with my knee issues.
