Just got this months Rider Mag.
They have very nice coverage of the 35 years of Goldwing history.
There is a question posed to their Guru about CT use.
The standard answer was given, at least the going down
in a flaming wreck wasn't mentioned......we are making progress!!!

See ya! .......................................Don

PS. Rider cancelled their rally plans for 2009:-(

I'm thinking I will e-mail this guy the thread to this forum topic so he can get another slant on this subject. He speaks subjectively about the bead width not being interchangeable. I'm still waiting for the post about car tire failure.

I've said it before, R. E. Fulton rode around the world back in 1932 on an English motorcycle given to him by the owner of the factory. Since the road back then left a lot to be desired, the factory put car tires on the bike. He made it around the world w/o out a problem or a tire change. In the 1990's he took the bike out for a ride and the original tires were still on the bike. This is a great book that I have loaned to many readers. My brother loaned it to a friend and he read it twice. I'm getting it back and plan on reading it again. Title: "One Man Caravan"
