Does anyone make risers for the 1500? A friend triked her '93 and needs help bringing the Bars closer..

Did she try loosening the clamp bolts and swivelling the bars? That give a couple of inches back.

As far as I know, no they do not make any for the 1500. Not enough space to fit them in there.

There used to be a company, MLB, that made a set of bars for a GL1500 that brought the bars back 1 1/2" and narrow 2". They stopped making them due to lack of interest. I contacted them to see if they had any left overs and they didn't but about 2 months later they emailed me and said they had found one of their vendors that had one set left. Needless to say, I ordered them that same day.

Just that little difference in being back and narrower made a huge difference in the feel.
