I have a RIVCO hitch on my 1800, not for pulling a trailer but for a carrier. I recently bought bag and locking rods from RIVCO.

One of the locking rods will not allow the lock to properly close (both locks close on the other rod) and while the rods appear identical it is clear the machining on one is off by enough the lock cannot close.

I imagined RICO would just ship me a replacement but instead it refers me to a voice mail number and wants me to get a "RGA" and return the item so it can determine whether to fix or replace. All the while I am without what I purchased.

Its not a huge deal but I think the company had a chance to provide excellent customer service and made the active choice to be just another mediocre accessory vendor.
