I will be riding in the area of Cloudcroft this week and I had a route picked out to ride, south of Cloudcroft. I noticed that (see below) roads F037 and F052 show partial or restricted usage (items 4,5,6 below). Can I travel down these roads?

I'm anxiously awaiting any replies to this also since I'll be there in a little over a week for the Golden Aspen Rally.

NM 24 paved
NM 130 paved
NM 506 ,most likely gravel not for touring bike
CORD F052 &F037 Are probbly gravel also
If you ride nm 24 from Dunken to Pinon To weed to Mayhill or Cloudcroft
I would get gas at Artesia or ride from Cloudcroft .Iwould get gas .There may not be gas station at Weed ,Pinion or Dunken.

Sunspot and Timberon are two places that are not bad to ride too. The only bad thing is you have to ride back out on the same road. They are paved . When you get to the end of the road at Timberon it turn to gravel

If it is your first time in the Ruidoso NM Area Some things you might want to see.

Cloudcroft NM ( neat little town ,everyone gathers at the little strip mall)
White Sands ( yes you can ride your bike . The road is packed sand , this sand is nothing like what we call river sand.or sand you used to play in.)
Sun spot (is a National Solar Obervatory plus a neat little ride to get there )
Timberon NM Nice ride
Linclon NM .( Where Billy the Kid broke out of jail and killed a deputy sheriff . Old Grave yard some tombstone has Friend of Billy the Kid engraved on them )
Fort Stanton ( has a large Merchant Marine Cemetery )
White Oak ( Home of the No Scrum Allow Saloon)
If you plan your ride You can ride 1/2 of this one day and the other 1/2 the next day .
Hope this helps and enjoy your trip
