I just noticed tonight that what stuff they have been putting on the roads before it snow (prevent ice) is all over my bike. I really haven't riden in the rain so was surprised. Worse part is that it has been on there about a week best I can figure. Guess it must be from the roads being damp in the morning. Damn stuff. I'd just as soon they didn't put anything down.

Check your rear wheel, that stuff with eat it up quicklike.

I didn't even ride this winter...just started up again in the last 10 days and my front rim is coated with salt like crap. I am going to try and clean it off this weekend.
