Discussion Starter #1
I know that a while back there was considerable discussion about roadside assistant insurance when Honda Riders droped it from there membership. Yesterday I got a call from a rider friend of mine and thought that I would pass it along. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me and I don't think that the price can be beat. It is from American Motorcyclist Association, here is more information if you chose to check it out.
Coverage for all your vehicles and your family’s vehicles, from motorcycles to cars, trucks, RVs and even trailers.

Heading out on your motorcycle with the horizon in your sights is cool.
Sitting on the side of the road with mechanical problem is not.
Now you can maximize your ride time and minimize the inconvenience of a breakdown with AMA Roadside Assistance, which offers peace of mind for you and all your family members.
Better yet, AMA Roadside Assistance is available FREE to AMA members who sign up online for AMA Champion, AMA Defender, AMA Hall of Fame or AMA Competition Plus memberships and choose the convenience of annual automatic renewal of their memberships with a credit card. Sign up now.
Hopefully you’ll never need this service, But when you do, you’ll have the comfort of knowing that AMA Roadside Assistance is tailored specifically to motorcyclists. With AMA Roadside

I guess the "Towing up to 35 miles." overrides the "Towing a disabled motorcycle or other vehicle to a shop or the member's home". 35 miles is not much of a distance. I can handle that distance my self. It would be nice for a longer distance though.

Roadside Assistance

How about the Honda Roadside Assistance that is sold by Direct Line Parts. Towing to nearest Honda Dealer seems like a bargain at $120.00 for 60 months.

Good tip. AAA RV + may be a better fit for you as it is for me. It's worth a call, at least.

We are Good Sam Club members. Just renewed for three years for $70.

We have used their roadside assistance and were very happy with the results.
