The beep is coming through the headsets, even when the CB is set for speakers. None of the other Wings I've had done that. In fact, when you released the trigger switch after talking on the other ones, I never heard the beep. Also, the horn comes through the speakers, when the CB is on. It even shows on the display a recieve signal, when I hit the horn. Any idea what's going on. It transmits fine, & seems to recieve okay. :?

Go too your right radio knob. Push untill you see roger beep. then turn knob to turn on or off. I f I remember right there are two roger beep options. My horn comes through the headsets but not the speakers. Hope that is some help... :idea:

Follow Brassringers instructions about the roger-beep tone - everyone else finds it just as annoying as you do.

The noise you hear in the CB when you honk the horn is the RF junk generated by the horns; they are, in effect oscillators, which is how they "honk."
