Thinking riding rt98 from fl to New Orleans. Any thoughts, good stops to see or other if u know the road. Thanks, Bob

A short detour up near Fort Walton Beach, go to Niceville air port and tour the Air Force armament museum which is next door.
Stop in Pensacola and visit the Naval Air museum.
Just before you get to Mobile stop at the USS Alabama memorial and tour the battleship.

All worth the time in my book.

Be sure to ride the causeway over Lake Ponchartrain.
