How does the cloth seat do with rain storms? Does it absorb? How about heat or cold temps? Also, is it higher, lower or the same. I'm not the tallest guy in the world. Please LMK

I can answer one question. All RDL saddles require a rain cover. They all absorb water.

Never had it in the rain, but a coat of scotch guard should be good for light rain. The cloth was nice and cool in the summer and not cold in the winter. The seat height moved up about 1/2". Me 225 with 34" inseam.

My inseam is 30-31 so I'm not sure how that would work. Hmmmm. Can you put an utopia back rest on there?. Does RDL have seat covers for rain? When you say UP 1" do you mean higher or forward ?

Apatz, what's your take on them? Most people love the seats but don't think it'll work if I'm up 3"

RDL are about the best seats out there. They have earned that reputation because they are custom designed and built for the purchaser. Unless you're the exact same height, weight, seating method, etc., a RDL that is the most comfortable to the original purchaser may be the worst thing ever for you. Custom fit really means unique fit. For example, a tall rider needs extra height and possibly moved seating position back n the saddle. A shorter person needs the opposite. Be very careful when buying a used RDL saddle.
