I saw your request to see Goldwing accessories on 1800's.
I know of a meeting for breakfast in Fairfield at Country Waffles on Jan 25th. 8 am. Address; 2390 North Texas Street, Fairfield. It is a GWRRA group, Chapter CA2k. There should be plenty of guys anxious to show off their accessories. Have breakfast with them and go for a ride. I don't belong to the group, but know of their schedule. They are a very friendly group and would be happy to ride with you. I live in Oakdale and may ride over myself if the weather is good.
These are all local Bay Area groups. The BTK (BlackTop Knights) are a dues paying bunch, I think $25 annually, but the others are riders groups who just love to ride. You'll find everything from Wings thru' Harleys, Yamahas, Suzis, BMWs and just about every bike style you can think of. The main thing with these guys is there is always a ride going on. It might be a short day ride to Napa or Tahoe, or a short overnighter to places like San Simeon or Yreka, or even the annual treks ( which this year is to Colorado/New Mexico ), maybe a quick blast to Daytona and back, and quite a few other places inbetween. Each site also has a bunch of links to other groups. Check out the messages, meet up at any starting point and prepare to have more fun than you'll ever expect!
~San Simeon this coming weekend, rain or shine! :rain1: :snow1: 4:
Hi I am a member in GWRRA in Chapter CA-2K. Th previous post with our meet date is correct. Come on out and check us out. We usually have 50 or better in attendance at the breakfast and meeting. Everybody is supper friendly and we always have a great time. This meeting we don't have a ride scheduled. Not enough want to ride in the cold. We have some safety videos we are going to watch this time. I plane on riding my bike and I'm sure some other brave ones will too. I live in Vallejo, so it sounds like we might be nieghbors. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] and we can get together for coffee and a ride.I might even be able to get some of the other guys to join us. Hold on we're goin for a ride. Litnlennie
