Searched the manual for the word guards, only referred to engine guards, and simply said said secure snugly. Could not find saddlebag guards information.
Only thing I could find was on page 1-12, general values according to fastener size.

12mm bolt/nut = 40 lbf-ft
10 mm bolt/nut = 25 lbf-ft
8mm bolt/nut = 16 lbf-ft.

Torque

Yeah, I saw that one too. I went ahead and torqued it to 20 lb/ft and it feels good. I am scared to death to overtorque them with it bolting straight into the Aluminum frame. I can go back and retorque them if I need too. Thanks for the reply and all. Preciate it. :) C-ya
