I took my seat off yesterday and checked the bolt threads. It was interesting to see where the wires connected for the heated seats. I was happy to see that the threads were good on all 4 holes. I did clean them out but there was no debri and I did put a little anti seize lubricant on the threads. It went back on just as easy as it came off.

I know people have fits with the seat but I personally don't get it. I've had my seat off several time and I've never had a problem with it. Unplugging the harness for the heated seat seems to be the biggest pain for me.

seat bolts

I initially had problems reinstalling the bolts but a friend advised me to file down the first couple of threads on the bolts, since I did that there is no problem reinstalling, a little anti-sieze, as previously mentioned also helped w/ the removal. Somewhere on the web one can buy bolts that have the ends ground off for the Wing.
