Sure, there are riders who still have older headsets with only BT without mesh.
I was very happy to see that you can use mesh and BT at the sametime with the 60S with those times when some riders have mesh and the other rider only has BT.
the reason I ask, is because my wife has a Spyder and we’ve tried the mesh which wasn’t perfect but we haven’t tried the bluetooth intercom from bike to Spyder…

Yea it will work. The only con is you have to pair the headsets with the BT, where as the mesh just connects on its own as long as everyone is on the same channel.

Be really careful here; just ran into this problem a couple months ago.

If you're using Mesh do not pair the Bluetooth channel at the same time! In fact, be sure to delete the pairing and only use the private mesh between you and your wife's helmet.

Things'll work a whole lot better.
