I am amazed at the search skills of many on here - I would like to have just their little finger worth of that skill.

Recently there was a post referencing a plastic/rubber shield to cover the new Sena 50s mic so that it is protected from wind noise and more voice directed. They found it on Amazon and I can't find, remember, or get results from searching Amazon or this forum as to the accessory.

I do know that it was $15.00'ish. If you can link to that post or repost the Amazon part - THANKS!

Sierra Electronics carries them. I tried to give you the web link but the site is down at the moment.

I have one and I can not remember where I got it. But it is so simple to make. Find a plastic or vynl tube that will fit over the mic about 1inch to 1.5 inches. Then on one side cut a small oval out just big enough to let the mic slot be visible in the oval slot. Slide the original foam cover back over it. I save stuff and have a plastic cover that goes on a small 1/4 inch tube so that debris can not get into the tube. That is something that can be used for what you need. I have also seen those kinds of things that cover auto vacumn lines on Fords and Chevs
