If you want step by step videos that will guide you through just about every maintenance detail on the bike, get a set of Fred's DVD's.

I have both. The videos are GREAT! Fred shows you some shortcuts and tips that the manual just doesn't cover.

You can also check eBay! for deals. Stick with the OEM manual. It's FAR better than the others.

Here is the OEM manual on CD: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-OEM-GL1800-2001-05-Service-Owner-Parts-Videos-ETM-Manual-CD-61MCAC04-/171197297526?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item27dc277376&vxp=mtr

I'd highly recommend getting both the Factory Service Manual AND Fred H's maintenance DVDs. I watch Fred do it first on the DVD and then take the Service Manual out to my shop with me. Those occasionally come up for sale here on the Classified Board, that's how I got mine. But you have to be QUICK, they don't sit long.

:agree: Fred takes his time to explain every detail. I usually watch him on double speed.

Not entirely "authorized" but you can find CD versions of the factory manuals on ebay.

Before everybody accuses me of being a pirate I did purchase a factory paper manual also.

If Honda won't offer the Service manuals in PDF form I don't think they can bitch when people resort to ulterior means.

Download all the manuals you need for your 2005 Wing, at no charge, in searchable pdf format.

I would highly recommend the Honda OEM Hard Copy as well. Sometimes you really just can't beat paper manuals . . . but pdf is nice . .
