I have recently upgraded the rear suspension and the bikes rear end doesn't droop any more. Now the side stand is too short.
Purchased a pad from rivco and cut and welded a 1/2" aluminum pad to the bottom of the new pad.
Had to grind a chamfer on the bottom edge where it was hitting the exhaust cover.
Now the big girls hiney don't sag and she sits pretty too.

Nice work! I cut a "pad" from a hockey puck with a Dremel cutoff tool, sanded it a little, JB Welded it to the side stand and it works great. Took me 30 minutes total. I've been using it for over a year now and works good, too.

Great idea! Durable and prolly grips the ground pretty good.
