Might be talking about the electric side wheels that drop at low speeds to hold the bike up, but lift when you go over 15 mph or so. Seen some posts about them periodically but cant remember the vendor.
They are kind of like training wheels for a kids bike, but with electric motors to raise and lower them. :yes1:
I think I know what your talking about. The wheels retract when you get above a certain MPH then go back down when you stop. I met a Wing in Montana with them on looked like a neat idea.
I have heard of something called "landing gear" that goes up and down with the speed of the goldwing. I don't know if that is what you are talking about.
Saw an old guy (older than me) at the Honda Hoot in Asheville with a set up that went up and down with speed. He was in traffic and when he slowed down the training wheels would automatically lower. I might need that someday.
I've seen a few of these kits around, but I've never talked to an owner.
Wow, I didn't realize there were so many kits like that and even some retractable gear - I thought those were only available for the 1500s. I started clicking on the links above after I had started my message.
