I'm not sure if this has been posted here before, but since this is a warning and it might save someone grief, I'm not going to take the time to use the search function.
If you're traveling northbound on the GSP and get off at I-287 you'll encounter some very slick bridge joints (3 of them) made with soft tar. It'll make your front tire squiggle and depending on your lean angle could cause a mishap. I guess the NJDOT did not keep us in mind when doing this.
Be very careful.
