hi all,
i replaced my brake pads on my 2001 non abs 1800 and in doing so installed the left side rear pad wrong, it rubbed on the rivets holding the rotor to the hub....fast forward a week, installed a new rear caliper and used rear rotor and new rear pads and i still have a slight "ticking" sound when applying the brakes.... on the center stand i do not hear the noise from the rear when applying the brakes, i looked at the front and see no evidence of rubbing like i had in the rear brakes, i visually looked to see if the pads are correctly installed and they appear to me to be in the correct location...anyone experience this? to me it sounds like a close pin and baseball card against the spokes of a bicycle (only quieter) ONLY when applying the brakes....any help is greatly appreciated...

thanks,

joe
