You get one key fob with a small key in it.
You get a second spare key.

Hide the spare key somewhere on the bike.

Then, no matter if lost key or dead battery on the fob, just get out your hidden key, open the side bags and use the emergency start procedure.

Let's say your key fob goes dead and you have to start the bike with the code. What happens if you stall the bike at a stop light. Are you going to have to get off the bike and spend 10 minutes in the middle of the street entering the code all over again?

Doubt it..
The emergency procedure is to turn the master on/off to "ON".. as long as you don't turn it off you should be okay ... if you stall the engine just tap the starter button again.
