I have a picture of a new smart tire monitor but the owner doesn't know what version it is . I understand there was some problems with the older units Does anyone know how to tell ? Thank you.

That looks exactly like a new unit I installed for a guy yesterday. Easy install - works great.

Smart tire model

There are two models,news to me.I only saw one for motorcycles.Please tell me if I'm wrong....Jim

Jim , there isn't for bikes, but, there has been a few newer versions(read improvements) .
From what I understand some of the older sensors didn't fit the rim very well and there was a problem with the plastic clips breaking off .

I don't think that the issue was with the receiver. I think there were some problems with the earlier sensors.
