i had the bike apart to install a belly pan, and a set of led running lights

well, the running lights had an unusal wiring pattern, and i kept blowing the same fuse

so of course i just used the next one, since i didnt have any extras

that was fine for all 4 i blew

i thought i replaced them all

got it back in one piece, after i checked the lights and the new 12 volt plug, and everything

went to start the bike and the - r - light was flashing 100 mile an hour

no start, nothing

some dummy didnt replace the reverse fuse he stole to use

even though its simple, it makes the heart skip a beat when the button is pushed and the bike doesnt start

Loren, since your move to Arkansas haven't you learned not to use a fuse, all you need is a jumper wire. Charley

Drill a hole in that plastic, then drop a wad of solder to hold those two burnt-up pieces together. :wrong:

No, what's wrong was finding the old glass-style fuses wrapped with chewing gum wrapper - or, worse yet, aluminum foil!
