I helped a buddy install a trunk spoiler this weekend on his '06 Nav. He had previously had some Kury lights installed in Daytona at Bike Week so there is a birds nest of wires behind the rear fender. We replaced the light in the spoiler with a Add On Run, Brake, Turn light. We hooked everything up per the instructions and did the test. When he applied the front brake the spoiler light goes completely out. It works as a running light (just a little dim) and the turn signals work as they should. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

This is just a guess but it sounds like you have the ground and brake wires reversed. When you are applying the brake, you lose ground and the lights go out.

In the original instructions from EC, it states do not do testing with just the battery, have the bike running.

Green will be ground. Didn't the replacement brake light come with a P'n'P harness?? If it didn't it should have.
