My 2004 GW starts when in neutral with kickstand up or down, but will not start when in gear and clutch pulled in. I have taken the switch off by clutch handle and looked in the small hole and can see the contacts are working. I then jumper wired across the 2 wires that connect to the switch just to see if it would start. Still would not start in gear. what else should I check?

Problem solved. Had a senior moment, do not ask. I will confess any way, kick stand was down when trying to start in gear. I know yea, yea, yea.
