my Buddy’s 08 was out on a ride a few days ago and when he stopped to fill up his gas tank, the bike decided it no longer wanted to spin the starter. Lights were good, single solid click from the solenoids, lights going out with starter button press. Figured we had a bad solenoid. Pushed him off and it started, so we rode back to the shop. Battery connections looked a bit corroded, so we cleaned and tightened them, no joy. 12.8v with starter switch pressed... Pulled the battery box, loosened the front of the left bag and started pulling the solenoids. Rear solenoid had a finger tight post. Tightened it, jumped the battery to the cables and VOILA!! Left the whole afternoon free, so we stuffed it all back together and went riding... 320 miles later, we wandered back home... my wife said something about fertilizing the yard... can you do that on a Goldwing?
