Throttle

Check the routing of the cables and at least take the right bar off and lube the cables well. Makes a difference. Also check the free play adjustment.

Sticky throttle

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago. After adjusting free play and lubing everything I noticed that my cramp buster had slid down the handle grip to the knob on the end and was binding, slowing the throttle return.

I swore I'd never tell that to anyone but it is one thing to check.

Adjust free play and you may want to lube the throttle grip, no need to lube the cables, they are Teflon coated on the inside.
