On my 05 Dk Gray wing (the stylish color), I have recently started smelling a strong gasoline smell when sitting in traffic and stopping in the garage. None visible out of place anywhere, any ideas on where to start looking. Only thing I can think is that the computer mapping is jacked and it is running hugely rich. Not seeing any real signs of it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Charlie

Remove gas cap and reinstall. I had the same prob w mine, I put the cap on crooked. Maybe you did the same thing??

Pull seat and check under rubber cover for fuel pump.. I had a cracked fuel fitting.... Fuel pump replaced under warrenty.

Mine did the same thing........do you have a belly pan? There is a vent line on the bottom of the bike which is routed through a hole in the belly pan. Mine had gotten pushed back up on top of the pan and was pinched off. I straighted the hose and put it back where it belonged and the smell went away.

Thanks for the input so far. Great things to try that I had not thought of and I do have a belly pan. And on the burritos - your d*mn straight Skippy, favorite is beef and bean with green chili and cheese!!! MMMMMMMMM! Any other input appreciated. Thanks again
