I thought maybe it would save cutting holes in the plastic. Also figured that with a pig tail that small, they could only be used with light loads or with a relay.

Looked at the electrical connection page and has a replacement switch set up but with rectangular switches. If you look close at the Dennis Kirk part, the box looks like maybe it had rectangular switches at one time.

They're also not weatherproof...

I replaced the switches with illuminated versions - they're still not weatherproof, but at least now I can see their position :)
