If you have a Tagalong on a trike, I have a couple questions/concerns. I like the look and convenience of the Tagalong v. a cooler rack but am concerned about the weight. The Rivco aluminum cooler rack, for instance, is extremely light but the manufacturer recommends a max. load of 25#. The tagalong appears to weigh more than that empty. Can the trunk be opened with the Tagalong in place? If you own and have used a Tagalong, I would appreciate your thoughts concerning the above.

I wouldn't worry too much about the weight of the Tag along the Trike will handle it with NO problem. I rarely have less than 50 + pounds on my Draw Bar/Receiver. The trunk should open almost all the way or near. The one that you are looking at was made for a MT, but the draw bar can be re drilled further out, if not lengthened a little.
