Good stuff

I live down the road from Schoepf's old time BBQ and prefer Coopers hands down.
I know, I know, I know some people on her claim to be the BBQ Expert;););) but it really depends on each one's taste buds..

Now I have been to Coopers two times and that is a good excuse to go back to Texas anytime.. To me it was the best BBQ I ever had.. Now the surroundings may have had a little to do with that along with the great people I was with..

I hope that someday I will get to go back to Coopers but it will not be this year..

Loren took Polecat and I to some BBQ joint that was about 40 or so miles from where he lives. Again the company and the surroundings always makes for good eating but this place was real good. I forgot the name of it. I know Loren can tell us which one it was...
I live about 7 miles from Hashknife in Pedenville. Some of the finest ribs I've ever tasted.

rivertowne cafe in ozark arkansas

goldwing to ride to bbq $16,000

double plate of bbq $ 8

the joy on polecats face priceless
Cooper's At Bottom Of My List Also

When to Cooper's one time and never went back. Brisket was over cooked. Wife's chicken tasted like rubber. Beans were mush. Everything was overpriced.
well i sure ain't no BBQ expert but i will say the review of Coopers is just plain BS ! after that worthless review i sure wouldn't want to count on any of their reviews .

to be very fair

the local newspaper, did not even pick coopers in the their readers poll, as being the best bbq in the county

mesquitey petey in marble falls was

and they have numerous placks hanging on the wall, that were from many years as the readers poll winners

you were there, you and polecat had very clean plates as i remember

bbq is a very personal taste thing

i didnt care for coopers at all

i also didnt care for the salt lick in austin either

i like the hard 8, and this poll didnt even include them in the top 50

at home the newspaper has a readers poll, and the place they picked this year, rates as sucky on my scale, i would never eat there again

This ain't right... We let you pick the places to eat.... Now just what are we missing :?: :joke: :joke:

Maybe we better let Laura start taking over this project. After all it is the most important reason as to why we ride Goldwings...
WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO
Snows took #1
I'm about a Mile from their front door.

I too hit a Polecat the other day. Clipped him in the head with a floorboard:shock:
I give a thumbs up for Baker's Rib in Downtown Dallas. I worked downtown for about 13 years and ate there often. The food and service was always good. I guess Sony Bryan's the original location on Inwood Rd. didn't make it. They were always good. All this talk about BBQ makes me want to ride out to Hondo and check it out.
Here is my top 5 list for Texas. I will put the town names by those you may not be familiar with

1-Davids BBQ ****Arlington TX
2--Church of the HolySmoke****-Huntsville TX
3-Angelos BBQ*** FtWorth TX
4-Railhead BBQ*** Ft Worth
5-Swinging Door**-Richmond TX

Honorable Mention
Lulings Street BBQ-Houston**
Hard 8**
Coopers**
Cousins**(south FtWorth location)

I like the beef lean not marbled so this effects my rating
