well, since I'm not AT work for the next couple of weeks (annual take-it-or-lose-it-vacation-time), I won't ride to work ... but since it was a balmy 43 degrees yesterday, I did take the opportunity to go out on the highway and see how fast I had to go before I started to get cold ...   ... verdict, insulated jeans works fine, insulated jean shirt under my riding jacket works fine, flip front helmet works fine ... steel toed boots suck (but not too much).
The advantages of NOT winterizing a bike is that you can go for a 100 miles ride whenever the weather (and roads) cooperate.
So ... no ... not jealous at all. Sorry.
Merry Christmas!!!
