This may belong on the "Rides and Events" board, but here goes.

I'm a pretty conservative rider. I tend to ride alone, or with GoldWingGal as passenger. As we consider group rides, does different riding styles/preferences become a problem?

Thanks, in advance, for responding to my poll.

Sometimes I want to get there the fastest that I can, and sometimes I don't care if it takes twice as long to get there.

My style of riding is always situational.

If time permits, backroads are great. Us working class only have a limited time on the road for long hauls, so guess we race to areas to slow down and enjoy them.

LadyHawk hates the super slab, but sometimes TIME dictates the route. We try to plan trips with enough time to smell the roses. :D

I WOULD prefer the interstate. For both for safety,
no cross traffic, & time reasons, but the ride insn't smooth
enough. I fight the ride most of the time. As I just stated
in a different post, my Goldwing really needs a sixth gear.
Yes, the Goldwing is twice as smooth at 75 MPH as my
Kawasaki 1500 was, but it is still only half as smooth as I
desire. It drives great at 60 MPG, in 5th.

Hey Bulldog that wasn't a problem for me. If I remember right they held the door for me and asked that I not come back.
