I used a Gear Pro camera that cost me about $30.00. It.s a 750 DPI. I just bought an up grade Gear Pro that is 1060 DPI the price on it was right at $70.00. Both were bought on http://www.woot.com/
Check it out, they have the Gear Pro cameras about ever 30 to 45 days.
Hope you enjoy the video.

Was the road full of gravel and salt? I was there 2 and a half months ago and 336 was a disaster. My wife flat out told me she never wanted to go on that road ever again. This coming from a woman who loves the dragon and all the twisties I hit around this area.

Dave, did you ever live and work in the Austin/La Grange area? I worked with a fella named David Worsham, but he was always a big H-D guy.

We rode the Sisters March 21st & 22nd with friends and all three roads were in great shape, give or take the physical make up of the aggregate TX uses for it's roadways in that area. Kind of rough on tires when you get crazy on the throttle. This was our 3rd year in a row for going down there, and we love it! It's like an all day roller coaster, and you pick what speed you want to ride it. I really enjoy parts of 39 hwy riding along the river and into Kerrville too. Very scenic.

No never lived down that way. This is the first bike I've owned in about 35 years. My wife doesn't like long rides, so I didn't have a bike while the kiddos were growing up. She didn't go on this ride because it was to long for her liking.
Oh Well, I had Fun.
We bought property in southeastern NC. We look to move up there sometime in early 2016. Looking forward to riding in that area a lot more then I have.

No, I didn't notice any salt, maybe "some" gravel, but nothing to speak of. Sorry your ride wasn't that good. I've riden up around your area some. Looking forward to getting back there. I like the roads there a LOT better. Moving up to Murphy in early 16. I'm sure you know where that is.

They don't use salt when the roads ice up down here, just sand and gravel. It can get scary before they remove it or it just blows off.

FM 335 is my favorite, its like riding a roller coaster. Next time you are down that way take TX 55 from Camp Wood to Rocksprings, go a few miles west on US 377 and then take FM 674 south to Brackettville. From Brackettville you can take FM 334 back to TX 55 and end up back in Camp Wood. FM 674 is an excellent road with very, very little traffic and lots of ups and downs as it follows the west fork of the Nueces River.

Nice videos.

We must have passed each other at some point this weekend. We stayed in Kerrville and rode the sisters on Saturday. The roads are in good shape mostly clean of gravel except in some places. Fortunately, all the large bike groups always seemed to be heading in the opposite direction so we enjoyed some great rides.

Oh, I enjoyed the ride. Her, not so much. I was laughing like a school girl. I guess it was Sand. It was literally 26 and icy the day before I road it. Slick as can be in the corners, it made it much more interesting.. :D

Rode the ladies on Sunday afternoon. On all three roads maybe saw 20 bikes. That it... On 335 was cruising along and looked over guardrail to my right. Was a goat turning around at the guardrail. Just surprising and Kool at the same time. Lots of turkey's crossing the roads too. Roads in great shape.

How long does a lap take? At a reasonable pace, say just for the core loop of a round trip out of Leakey (337 west to 335, north to 41, east to 336, and back; or the opposite direction), not adding in all the rest of 337 out to Medina/Bandera? Moving time.

I'm trying to organize my days and, in particular, avoid too early or too late in deer country but still squeeze in a few things. Some estimates from some folks who have done it will help me get closer to reality.
