If I'm going to be around of this forum ( which I'm sure 100% ) I think I have to know how to do few things.

1) How do you guys post your pictures to the left side bar of your posts under your handles ?

2) How do you guys post those weather forecast banners at the bottom of your posts with your cities on it ?

3) How do you turn the darn HTML OFF button to ON on the left Options list..

That's all for now... Will ask more soon...

Jim, go to the Support and Testing forum. Most of the things you need to know about adding avatars, weather bars, etc. are posted there. If you don't find all the answers there, feel free to ask away.

Please... no. Resist the temptation of the temperature banner. Those weather banners are SLOW to load, for those of us with dial up connections. It really bogs down viewing this board.

Those things re-write to temporary internet files each and every time that you view them, unlike an avatar, which is static.

1. Go to your profile and put the url of the picture you want to use. If you don't have a picture posted somewhere like Photobucket, you can go to http://photopost.bigbikeriders.com/ and upload a picture there. Click on the small picture, hit properties, copy url and put the url in the box at the bottom of your profile.

This is the short version of the temp bar. Preferred by those who have dial up Just replace the CO with your state and Durango with your city. Long version: Right click on someone's and hit properties, copy and change state and city. You will have to surround your url like this:
http://yoururl but don't leave any spaces like I did and you don't underline.

3. Don't think you can turn on the html button.
