For those of you who have upgraded their sound system with speakers and an amp. Did the amp help enough to justify the expense and was it very difficult to install? I have the Polk Audio speakers on my trike and just feel that I need a bit of power to help the sound.

Any info is appreciated.

i had an electrical connection amp in the cd cubby hole on my 02

it was about $100 and i installed it myself

i had 5.25 inch speakers on all 4 corners and it sounded great

the stock 4 inch crap speakersare garbage

the new 06 has a nice amp, but the speakers could be better

I rarely set my Vol over 18 or 19 at 65 - 68 MPH and have no problem hearing the CD. with the head piece on I have to turn it down to about 13 (Sierra Head Piece) And I am 3/4 to 9/8th Deaf. You ride in a State that requires Ear muffs, that may be why you cant hear it.

I would ask you to move over here to Texas, but you wouldn't like the weather, and besides that if you did. We would probably become friends, and start ridding together, and I just bet your the type of guy that would get me into trouble.

No doubt George that we would be friends and ride together like the Pro's from Dover. And you are right about the weather I don't like heat not even dry heat.
