Does anyone know how to create those google maps?

We have those discussions about the best BBQ, routes, where we live if someone needs help, ect. Wouldn't it be great if instead of someone trying to keep a list updated we could just log on and click on a map to see who was close. Or if I am in Western Colorado and want the best super green chilie something or other I could click a map.

Many of us travel with lap tops or smart phones. If not we could call a buddy and have them click to tell us who to call if you break down in Reydon, OK? Just looking at a map you might not be able to tell that Burns Flat, OK is only 50 miles away, but with a map it would be very apparent.

When you get you Google map the way you want it, click the "Link" link in the upper right hand corner of the map. Then you can copy the URL and pate it wherever you want. If this works, here should be a link showing a route from Madison to Nashville avoiding hiways.
