I will be going to pick up a GL1800 this week. Using an open trailer, low sides and front wheel chock. I have plenty of webbed tie straps. Where would you recommend fastening them? Thanks.

lower triple tree (takes small loop things OR long tyedowns ..double them hooks down) handlebars (gently) reargrab rails (gently) rear crashbars...this all depends how far you are towing...chuck

I add a set of soft ties thru the forks as well at the lower tree. Increase the angle forward slightly of what honda shows if no rear chock. Try to keep the tension the same on all straps. Don't lock them down fully, or they will loosen. Leave some suspension active.

I trailer my wing every day. best way is to use the L.A. chock from Baxter Trailers and two tie down straps. dont need all those other tie downs and ropes and junk and crapola. hook the two tie downs to the rear crash bars...thats it...and trailer away. yeehawwww.
