Garmin has a Website that provides both the file and the instructions for how to "fix" the Time and Date problem. The problem being that the on-board Nav System wants to use January of 2000 at the current date. This messes with the clock (of course) but also impacts the Day/Night Mode AND will not route you through or on any roads that are closed in the winter time.

It is easy to do. Just follow their directions. It works perfectly.

Thanks for the update. I have been waiting for Garmin do take care of this. I will do this tomorrow, as I cannot tonight. It will be nice to have the correct date and time on the bike for a change. I really hated the nav switching to night/day modes at the wrong time of the day.
