No, not my new CT.......

Yesterday we were rolling down I-15 doing about 80 and following an SUV that was pulling a trailer loaded with a 4 wheeler. We were about 200 yards behind him and gaining fast when there was a sudden large plume of smoke surrounding the trailer, and large chunks of rubber and tread sections flying everywhere. I got in the left lane and off the throttle, the driver was able to pull off to the shoulder with minimal trailer wagging.

I'm just glad I wasn't right beside him when it let go. Those chunks of flying tread sections would be hard to dodge.

This is why I pass all 18 wheelers by dropping gears &
red line full throttle every gear til clear of them. 110MPH
plus is a good speed for passing 18 wheelers. I'd rather
explain to the cop writing me the ticket why I did it,then
have the cop putting me in a body bag explaining to my
family why I died..

I do the samething when coming up on anything pulling
trailers...

I don't follow SUV's at all. My #1 rule has always been:
If I can not see through, over or around something
completely I do not follow it... (PERIOD")

Glad everything worked out for ya"

Hi ya Chuck,

If you road that way around here, say on I-70 or I-81, then that is all you would be doing. These roads are bumper to bumper with semis. Hard to avoid these two if you need to make time.

I've rode WV alot and never had a problem with 18
wheelers any more or less then any where else
